Mamas, are you painfully aware that you don't look 22 anymore? I sure am! At 37, I'm finding that the make-up I used and loved in my 20s and early 30s just ain't cutting it anymore. Mac Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation? Nope, now my old cult favorite just makes me look older – and my wrinkles more pronounced. I've tried other brands, but ALL foundations and powders are making me look like either a tired old hooker or a not-so-fabulous drag queen, neither of which are my desired look.
So, I tried using BB cream for that youthful dewy glow all those college girls seem to have. This was not a winning look for me, either. I ended up just looking really oily. Or sweaty. Or both.
And then magic happened, MOTYs. Magic...
Here's what you gotta do:
-Wash your face, and put on toner and moisturizer.
-Then, apply white translucent powder to face with a big brush.
-Next, apply your favorite foundation. Matte is best for oily/combination skin. I'm using Clinique Stay-Matte oil free foundation right now. Color Stay by Revlon is a great drug store option. Try a BB cream for dry skin.
And POOF! This beauty hack is OMG life changing! This quick tip:
-Helps minimize fine lines and wrinkles
-Makes you look less wrinkled and more air-brushed
-Sets make-up so foundation lasts much longer
-Allows blush, bronzer and eye make-up to blend better
Mamas, I can't get over how much better I look. Get on this bandwagon NOW.
Disclaimer: If this beauty tip doesn't work for you, too bad! A true MOTY hardly has time to perfect her own look, let alone care about yours.
